Augur Financial Opportunity Funds

Augur is Germany’s leading private equity firm with focus on investments in banks, insurance companies and other financial services businesses in Europe.

Augur launched its first fund, the Augur Financial Opportunity SICAV (“Augur I”) in 2007. Augur I successfully closed at € 116 million in December 2008 and is already 88% invested (cash.life, Creditweb, DARAG, Schnigge, Veritas). Thanks to its careful investment strategy the fund has despite the tough market environment a positive performance and already paid to its investors a dividend of 11% on the invested capital.

Due to the continuous attractive investment environment Augur recently launched the Augur II fund. Augur II is following the successful strategy of its predecessor.  The Fund’s target is €250 million.
